This is ME
The boring bit is I work in finance (right lets never talk of that again) I'm also a dad of two, My precious first boy who turned 8 recently and who less than a year ago was diagnosed with a super rare new genetic disorder called RHOBTB2 and my latest bundle of joy who recently turned 6 months old. The one that rereading something my wife posted on facebook describing herself as a geriatric mother made me feel incredibly old - she is a few years younger than me.

I'm also sports mad and have been since I was young, back in the days when test cricket filled my summer days on terrestrial TV and Trans World Sport bought me the joys of Kabaddi and Aussie rules football. I loved it all, but football that was my 1st love. I flirted with a few teams but the mid to late 80's side of Nottingham Forest under the legend of Brain Clough became my joy. Less joyful now but will also be a follower of the Garribaldi
Now in my later years I've caught the running bug, in the last 10 years I've competed in a number of marathons and shorter distance races, I like the solitude and the break from the kids, it also gives me time to think.
Away from sport and family I love to cook (with 2 kids its not something I do as often as I'd like) and read, I have even less time for that these days, but fill the hole of learning with podcasts wherever possible though too many of these still relate to sport.
